Value-added wallet services
For the launch of its European NFC-enabled wallet, Vodafone is looking for value-added wallet services: mobile-pocket provides loyalty cards and vouchers for users in 6 different countries.

Vodafone as a driver of digital innovation
With the launch of the European, NFC-enabled Vodafone Wallet, Vodafone is pursuing a clear vision: by 2020, consumers should be able to leave their physical wallet at home - their smartphone will be enough. To achieve this goal, Vodafone was looking for a platform that would create real added value for users in all countries where the wallet is available.
The wallet of the future
Vodafone chose mobile-pocket as the platform for the loyalty card and voucher services in the wallet: mobile-pocket enables the front-end functionality in the wallet via the integration of a library, the API and non-API-based connection of merchants and content partners, comprehensive campaign management and reporting. These advantages were essential for their success.

Comprehensive shopping experience
The Loyalty and Offers services work as an incentive and an extra reason to use the Vodafone Wallet as consumers use it all the way through their entire purchasing journey: showing their loyalty card, redeeming coupons and making payments.

Relevant coupons
Vodafone helps users to get more benefits from the brands they love.
With only a few clicks users can sort their coupons browse list exactly as they like it: either filter coupons by category or display them by distance. In order to do so, they simply have to select their current or future location.

Direct connection to the Nectar Loyalty System
With more than 19 million members in the UK, Nectar has decided to take the first step in its Mobile First strategy with direct integration into the Vodafone Wallet. All the benefits of the Nectar Card are displayed in the Vodafone Wallet: Earning reward points, checking your current points balance, and receiving personalised offers tailored to personal interests.
Multiple awards
The Wallet achieved a best practice, which was honoured with several global awards in the past months. Scoring “Emerging Payments Award" for "the Best Loyalty Incentive Programme” and two trophies of the “Payments Award" with the "Engagement & Loyalty Scheme of the Year 2016” clearly sets a global benchmark. The recent success with the first place of Gizmodo's Mobile Payment Ranking before Apple Pay and Android Pay constitutes a remarkable conclusion, declaring that Vodafone’s Wallet is the actual leading wallet in the markets with appropriate payment functionality and complementing services beyond payments.
Favoured by users
The continuous growth in new users and the excellent ratings in the Play Store prove that users are also enthusiastic.
